Recently all the major telecom service providers increased their rates. Firstly, Vodafone and Idea's increased their prepaid plans making them become more expensive. Not only this, Airtel also increased the tariffs of its existing plans. While Reliance Jio was observing the others telecom providers and analyzing their new rates, so that Jio can also made their prepaid tariffs expensive on the basis of the prices of the new plans launched by Idea, Vodafone and Airtel. All the Indian major telecom service providers has now increased the tariffs of their existing plans. A monopoly is created by all the telecom operators which made their customers to suffer now from this high price hikes. It was started by Jio when in the last Jio made changes in its existing plans and also stopped the unlimited calling from Jio to other networks and then its new FUP minutes plans. In this month, Idea, Vodafone and Airtel also did the same and ceased their existing plans and introduced the new plans in which no more unlimited calls are there. Also while Idea, Vodafone and Airtel increased the rates of their existing plans, Jio was planning how it can take the benefit from it. Later Jio also increased its rates again. So, Jio has also launched its new plans now w.e.f. 6th Dec 2019.

Now, all the operators started a kind of monopoly now in the Indian market which had created a problem to their customers. Taking about the plans now.
If you have were a Jio customer then you would be knowing about its Rs. 444 plan which offers 2.0 GB/day data and 1000 FUP min for calling with 84 Days Validity to other networks & Jio to Jio calls were still unlimited. The other telecom operators Idea, Vodafone and Airtel suffered a huge loss in crores of INR in the recent years which they now need to collect. These telecom operators simply clarified that they don't have enough money to come out of their debts which they owe to TRAI from their customers, so they will now simply increased the cost of their plans and collect revenue from the customers which they will now submit to the government. While Reliance Jio, only needed to repay only 13 Crores to clear its dues, but still observing the current telecom industry situation and taking the advantage of it, Jio also increased its tariff. Jio knows that even if it offers its plans Rs. 50 or Rs 100 less than other service providers then also the customers will retain with Jio. Jio here plays a very good strategy taking the benefit of the situations of both the other telecom service operators as well as the customers. Now, still Jio plans are lesser in cost and tariffs than other telecom operators so the customers will left with no choice other than still retaining with Jio. So, if we observe and compare the new Jio plans, we will find the new Jio plans are based on the same Reliance Jio's same tactics.
